Rapid Development Initiatives in Sibi: Clean Water, Parks, and Solar Power Projects Inaugurated

Sibi, 1 October 2025 — Commandant Sibi Scouts, Munir Ahmad Sultan, along with Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Major (R) Ilyas Kabezi, inaugurated multiple development projects under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI). These projects, approved based on issues raised by the public during open courts, were completed at an unprecedented pace, providing immediate benefits to residents.

Among the completed projects are the solarization of the school attached to Government Girls Elementary College, filtration plants on Jail Road and Luni Road for clean drinking water, and upgrades at Public Park Sibi, including swings, solar lighting, a cafeteria, and water channels.

Commandant Munir Ahmad Sultan urged that the relevant departments ensure proper maintenance of these projects to provide lasting benefits. Deputy Commissioner Major (R) Ilyas Kabezi assured that work on remaining projects will begin soon and be completed ahead of schedule.

Residents expressed satisfaction and confidence, noting that their concerns were addressed promptly and effectively, strengthening public trust in local administration.
