The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) has expressed profound grief over the tragic loss of its dedicated officer, Inspector Waqar Ahmed Satti, who embraced martyrdom while performing his official duties.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred at Sector (Murree) IMDC N-75, Beat 01, location 14 North Angoori Road, where a motorcyclist, driving recklessly, struck Inspector Satti during duty hours. He sustained critical injuries and was immediately shifted to Akbar Niaz Hospital, Bhara Kahu, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Motorway Police paid rich tribute to Inspector Satti’s invaluable services and supreme sacrifice, affirming that his commitment and dedication to duty will be remembered with great honor.
In a statement, the NHMP prayed that Allah Almighty grants the martyr the highest rank in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bestows patience and strength upon his bereaved family.
Meanwhile, local police from Bhara Kahu and relevant NHMP authorities remained present at the scene to complete all legal formalities.
