DC Jhal Magsi Chairs Meeting on Birth, Death, and Marriage Registration; Emphasizes Public Awareness and Cleanliness Drive

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jhal Magsi, Syed Rehmatullah, chaired a meeting with relevant officials regarding the issuance of birth certificates, marriage registrations, and death certificates.

During the session, officials from the Local Government Department and NADRA briefed participants about rules, regulations, and awareness campaigns related to these registrations.

Addressing the meeting, DC Rehmatullah directed that along with the timely issuance of certificates, proper awareness must be provided to the public. He strictly instructed that no extra fee beyond the government’s prescribed charges should be collected from citizens.

The DC further stressed that all possible support must be extended to resolve public issues. He also highlighted the importance of sanitation measures, directing officials to ensure the installation of dustbins where needed, the cleaning of ponds, and the operation of de-watering pumps.

He emphasized raising awareness among the people about the significance of cleanliness to prevent the spread of diseases caused by unhygienic conditions.
