Federal Minister Amir Maqam Condemns IED Attack in Peshawar; Wishes Speedy Recovery for Injured Officers

Peshawar, October 2, 2025 (Staff Report):
Federal Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Maqam, strongly condemned the improvised explosive device (IED) attack targeting a police mobile in Garhi Qamar Din, Peshawar and expressed his heartfelt sympathy for the injured personnel.

In a statement, Engineer Amir Maqam lauded the sacrifices of the police, security forces and the public, calling them “unforgettable.” He reaffirmed that anti-state elements will never succeed in their malicious designs.

The minister prayed for the swift recovery of the wounded officers and reiterated the government’s resolve to take the fight against terrorism to its logical conclusion. He called for unity among state institutions and citizens to defeat terrorism and restore lasting peace.
