Security Meeting at BC Headquarters Pledges Enhanced Protection for Chinese Nationals and Public Safety in Balochistan

A high-level security meeting was convened at the Balochistan Constabulary (BC) Headquarters, Badar Line Quetta, under the chairmanship of Additional IGP/Commandant BC, Agha Muhammad Yousaf. The meeting was attended by SSP Headquarters, Zonal Commanders of BC Zones I–IV, Assistant Director Asadullah, and Zonal Commanders of Gwadar, Sibi, Loralai, and Khuzdar via video link.

Addressing the participants, Additional IGP Agha Muhammad Yousaf paid glowing tribute to the sacrifices of BC personnel and other security forces for maintaining peace and protecting lives and property. He strongly condemned the September 30 terrorist attack on the FC Headquarters and offered prayers for the martyrs.

The meeting underscored the Constabulary’s unwavering commitment to work in close coordination with other law enforcement agencies to ensure provincial security. Several key decisions were taken, including:

Strengthening security arrangements for Chinese nationals and other foreign citizens in Balochistan.

Ensuring 100% attendance of BC personnel with leave granted strictly under SOPs.

Keeping platoon strength at a minimum of 25 as per standing orders.

Conducting regular mock security exercises and refresher training courses.

Deploying reserve forces for additional security duties.

Activating the satellite monitoring system across BC.

Guaranteeing foolproof security at cadet colleges across the province.

Additional IGP Yousaf directed all personnel to remain fully alert during duty hours and act strictly in line with SOPs to counter any unforeseen situation.
