Turbat, October 2, 2025: The second day of the Kech Cultural Festival witnessed a series of intellectual and cultural sessions with notable figures including Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy, former CM Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, senior journalist Shehzada Zulfiqar, and Quetta Press Club President Irfan Saeed.
Dr. Hoodbhoy stressed mother-tongue education for children while underlining the importance of English for modern sciences. Dr. Malik emphasized democratic processes and education as solutions to Balochistan’s issues. Shehzada Zulfiqar highlighted the struggles of local journalism, calling social media a powerful voice for the people.
The event also featured lectures on ancient civilizations, book launches, student business proposals, and theater performances showcasing Baloch traditions.
