Thatta Police Achieves Major Success: Inter-District Criminal Gang Busted, Rs. 4 Million Cash Recovered

Thatta, October 2, 2025 – Thatta Police has successfully apprehended an inter-district criminal gang involved in robbery, snatching, and street crimes. Three active criminals have been arrested, and Rs. 4 million cash stolen during a robbery, along with one pistol and 125 motorcycles used in criminal activities, have been recovered.

According to details, on September 15, six unidentified suspects on three motorcycles snatched Rs. 4 million from complainant Shahid Anwar Jutt near 5-Dari Bridge, Railway Line, Dahabiji. Following the orders of SSP Thatta, Farooq Ahmed Bajrani, a senior team conducted a technical operation and arrested the following suspects:

Gul Hassan, son of Aqeel Kahir, resident of 105 Mori, Ghora Bari

Ishaq, son of Gulshir Chandio, resident of Gharo City

Owais, son of Qaiser Khan Jatoi, resident of Asal Jhok Sharif, District Sujawal (currently in Dahabiji)

During initial investigation, police recovered one pistol, 125 motorcycles, and the stolen Rs. 4 million in cash from the suspects’ possession. Further investigations revealed the gang’s involvement in multiple serious crimes, with their criminal records under verification.

SSP Thatta lauded the team for the successful operation and announced awards and commendations for their exemplary performance.
