Quetta, October 4:
Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court, Justice Rozi Khan Bareech, has launched a Pension Branch to safeguard the rights of retired employees, marking another milestone in the province’s judicial reforms.
The newly established branch has already begun delivering results — a retired employee recently received all his pension dues within just ten days of retirement.
In a special ceremony, Chief Justice Bareech presented the retired employee with a shield and a gift as a token of appreciation. The event was attended by Registrar Abdul Qayyum Lehri and other judicial officers.
Justice Bareech emphasized that employees are the backbone of the judicial system, and protecting their rights is among the top priorities of the judiciary.
He said the establishment of the Pension Branch has eliminated delays and difficulties previously faced by retired staff, adding that the initiative would enhance institutional transparency and public confidence.
“Respect and financial security of employees, even after retirement, will be fully ensured,” the Chief Justice affirmed
