QUETTA, October 4:
Advisor to the Chief Minister on Labour and Manpower, Sardar Baba Ghulam Rasool Umrani, has said that teachers are the architects of intellectual, moral, and practical foundations of societies.
In his message on World Teachers’ Day, he said that no nation can progress without the knowledge, guidance, and dedication of teachers.
He added that a teacher is not only a source of knowledge but also a mentor in character-building and awareness-raising.
Umrani emphasized that a conscious and disciplined nation can only be built when teachers are given due respect and recognition.
He said that the Government of Balochistan acknowledges the valuable services of teachers and is taking serious measures to resolve their issues.
He noted that education and training are essential for development, and prioritizing teachers’ welfare is a collective responsibility.
Despite limited resources, teachers in Balochistan have served with devotion and perseverance, which deserves appreciation.
Sardar Baba Ghulam Rasool Umrani said teachers are the lamps that illuminate darkness and guide future generations.
He added that the observance of World Teachers’ Day aims to highlight the sanctity of this noble profession and renew the commitment to uphold teachers’ dignity while utilizing their wisdom for social and economic progress.
