Quetta, October 5, 2025 — An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 was recorded on Saturday, October 5, 2025, at 13:29:28 UTC (18:29:28 PST), approximately 65 kilometers west of Quetta, Balochistan.
According to seismic data, the quake occurred at a depth of 25 kilometers, with the epicenter located at Latitude 30.19°N and Longitude 66.33°E.

The event was detected and analyzed through the automatic seismic monitoring system (Mode: A). Mild to moderate tremors were felt in Quetta and adjoining areas, causing brief concern among residents, though no panic was reported.

The Provincial Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) of the PDMA Balochistan has established contact with all District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMAs) to assess any potential impacts.
As of the latest reports, no loss of life or property damage has been recorded from any district.

Authorities have confirmed that monitoring and assessment are ongoing, and further updates will be shared as detailed reports are received from the respective DDMAs.
