Advisor Ihtesham Ali Holds First Meeting at Excise Department, Stresses Teamwork and Digital Reforms

Newly appointed Advisor to Excise Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ihtesham Ali, chaired his first high-level meeting after assuming charge, emphasizing teamwork, accountability, and service delivery.

Officials briefed him on departmental operations, ongoing projects, and revenue achievements. The advisor lauded the department for meeting revenue targets and directed staff to maintain professional conduct and taxpayer facilitation.

He also called for digitizing services and simplifying vehicle registration processes to boost compliance. Ihtesham Ali announced a forthcoming staff meeting to address internal concerns before focusing on public grievances.

He reaffirmed that under his leadership, the department will prioritize transparency, efficiency, and citizen engagement.
