Curfew Lifted in Zahri After Security Meeting, Roads to Reopen Soon

Khuzdar, October 7, 2025: Provincial Minister for Local Government, Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri, held a high-level meeting with security officials regarding the situation in Zahri. Following discussions, officials decided to lift the curfew and assured the public that roads would soon be cleared and reopened for traffic.

Addressing the public, Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri urged residents to cooperate fully with security forces, emphasizing that their presence in the area is to ensure safety and maintain law and order. He reassured citizens that no harm would come to the public and that the security forces are acting only against disruptive elements.

“Zahri is my home; the welfare and security of its people are my responsibility,” he said, pledging that all efforts would focus on restoring normalcy and ensuring peace. Following the announcement, the lifting of restrictions brought relief and satisfaction among Zahri residents, who expressed gratitude to Chief of Jhalawan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, and Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri.
