Thatta, October 9, 2025 — A petty dispute over road crossing turned deadly in Thatta late Thursday night, exposing the growing culture of intolerance and disregard for human life even among so-called educated and civilized circles.
According to details, a heated argument broke out between Azhar Shirazi and members of the Masan community over road crossing. The confrontation escalated quickly when members of the Masan group allegedly opened fire, resulting in the death of Rawal Mallah, a security guard of Azhar Shirazi.
Taking immediate notice of the incident, SSP Thatta directed the police to arrest all suspects involved and ensure strict legal action. The SSP also visited Civil Hospital Thatta, met with the family of the deceased, and assured them of justice.
Police have launched raids to apprehend the culprits, while an investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of the altercation.
