Shikarpur: Three Killed in Crossfire over Old Feud — DIG Larkana Takes Strict Notice

Three people, including a teenage girl passerby, were killed in an exchange of fire between the Chhato Manghi Dahani and Jeho groups over an old enmity near Salar Link Road in the jurisdiction of Police Station Madeji, District Shikarpur.

The deceased have been identified as Nisar Ahmed Jeho, Anwar Ali Jeho, and 17-year-old girl Ms. Saraan Manghi.

Upon receiving the report, 🇵🇰 Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana, Mr. Nasir Aftab, took strict notice of the incident and issued immediate directives.

The DIG:
⬅️ Contacted SSP Shikarpur Mr. Shahzaib Chachar for on-ground updates.
⬅️ Ordered deployment of additional police contingents to the conflict-hit area.
⬅️ Directed DSP Madeji to remain in the affected zone along with his full sub-division force to prevent any further violence.
⬅️ Issued strict orders for the immediate arrest of all individuals involved in the deadly incident.

DIG Nasir Aftab reiterated that no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands and that law and order will be ensured at all costs.

🔹 It is pertinent to mention that during the year 2025, a total of 154 murder cases have been registered across the Larkana Range, with dozens of people losing their lives due to tribal disputes, personal enmities, and rivalries. Police operations are actively underway to apprehend the culprits involved in these violent incidents.
