Thatta Police Swiftly Solve House Theft Case — Suspect Arrested Within 24 Hours
Stolen cash worth Rs. 523,500 recovered and returned to the rightful owner
Thatta, October 12: Acting on the directives of SSP Thatta Farooq Ahmed Bijarani, the Sakro Police achieved a swift breakthrough by arresting a suspect involved in a house theft incident within 24 hours of the crime.
According to details, on the night of October 11, 2025, an unidentified suspect stole Rs. 523,500 in cash from the house of Shahzad Khatti in Sakro town. Following the incident, a case was registered at the Sakro Police Station on the complaint of Shahzad Khatti.
Under the supervision of SHO Sakro Inspector Murad Ali Bukhari and his team, a prompt operation was launched. The team successfully arrested the accused, Sohail son of Muhammad Siddiq Khatti, from Sakro town.
During preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. Acting on his indication, the police recovered the stolen amount of Rs. 523,500 from his residence.
The recovered cash was later handed over to the rightful owner, Shahzad Khatti, who expressed his gratitude to SSP Thatta and SHO Sakro Police Station for their timely and effective action.
