In a strongly worded statement, the Deputy Speaker said that Afghan aggression and cross-border terrorism from Afghan soil are completely intolerable. He expressed deep admiration for the Pakistan Armed Forces, praising the valiant soldiers for giving a powerful and befitting response to the provocation.
He paid rich tribute to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives in defense of the nation, adding that their sacrifices for Pakistan’s security, sovereignty, and peace will always be remembered.
> “Under the able leadership of Field Marshal General Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Armed Forces possess the full capability to counter any enemy and protect the nation’s borders with courage and professionalism,” said the Deputy Speaker.

He further noted that Pakistan has hosted and supported more than four million Afghan refugees, an act of humanity that has been acknowledged globally.
He reiterated that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation, committed to promoting stability, harmony, and regional cooperation. However, he warned that mistaking Pakistan’s patience for weakness would be a grave miscalculation.
> “Pakistan has always played a constructive and brotherly role in fostering peace and friendly relations with Afghanistan,” he said, adding that hostile elements are actively attempting to sow mistrust between the two neighboring countries.
The Deputy Speaker reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire for a peaceful, stable, and prosperous Afghanistan, stating that Islamabad will continue to play an effective role in promoting regional peace, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation.
