FC Balochistan Holds Peace Jirga in Naseerabad; Commandant Highlights Role of Unity, Education, and Development

NASEERABAD, Oct 14, — A significant peace and development jirga was held at the FC Headquarters 114 Wing Naseerabad, presided over by Commandant Sui Rifles Colonel Muhammad Usman Aslam. The event brought together a large number of participants from all walks of life, including tribal elders, political and social leaders, government officials, teachers, students, and members of civil society.

Prominent attendees included Lt. Colonel Rizwan Ali Tayyab (Commandant 114 Wing), Mir Shaukat Jan Bangulzai, DHO Dr. Abdul Mannan Lakti, Mir Asif Jan Lehri, Mir Lal Muhammad Badini, Major Yasir, S.M. Ikram Ahmed, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Abro, Haji Ghulam Hussain Bhanger, Mir Muhammad Waris Abro, Seth Tara Chand, Haji Sher Ahmed Khiazi, Mir Hamid Khan Gola, and Seth Dasu Mal, among other respected community figures.

Addressing the gathering, Colonel Usman Aslam reaffirmed that ensuring peace and protecting the lives and property of citizens is the foremost priority of the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan. He said that terrorism has inflicted deep wounds on the nation, but with the combined efforts of the FC, law enforcement agencies, and the public, it can be eradicated completely.

He emphasized that the people of Balochistan are patriotic and have always stood shoulder to shoulder with national institutions for the preservation of peace and stability. “Sustainable peace cannot be achieved without the support of the public,” he added, urging all communities to unite against the conspiracies of anti-state elements.

Highlighting the importance of youth, Colonel Usman Aslam encouraged them to focus on education, calling it “the foundation of progress and prosperity.” He further stated that the FC continues to launch welfare and development initiatives in the fields of education, healthcare, and employment generation to improve the quality of life in the region.

At the conclusion of the jirga, participants praised the role of FC Balochistan and pledged full support to efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability in Naseerabad and across the province.
