Islamabad, October 14: First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the cowardly attack on an anti-polio team in Swat’s Matta area, which led to the martyrdom of Levies officer Yaseen.
Expressing deep sorrow and sympathy, the First Lady said that those who target health workers and security personnel serving to protect children from diseases are the enemies of humanity.
She paid glowing tribute to the martyred Levies officer for his bravery and devotion to duty, stating that his sacrifice will forever be remembered with honor.
Bibi Aseefa reaffirmed that the complete eradication of polio remains a top national priority, and such heinous acts of violence cannot shake Pakistan’s resolve to secure a polio-free, healthy future for every child.
She also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
