Gwadar, October 14:
A senior delegation from the Gwadar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) led by President Jehand Hot is scheduled to depart for Indonesia today to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Creatives Exchange (ICE). The delegation includes GCCI General Secretary Khalid Saif and Senior Vice President Naeem Rasheed.
The agreement aims to expand partnership in trade, investment, IT, tourism, marine, and fisheries sectors between Pakistan and Indonesia. GCCI will offer Indonesian investors opportunities in Gwadar’s Free Zone, logistics, fisheries, infrastructure, and tech sectors. Meanwhile, ICE will conduct business training, port management and tech programs for Pakistani youth.
President Hot said the mission will usher Gwadar into a new era of economic partnership and growth, signaling the port’s evolution from a local hub to a global game-changer. He pledged GCCI will work tirelessly to present Gwadar’s best face to the world.
