Dushanbe, October 14 — A Pakistani delegation led by Gwadar Port Chairman Noor-ul-Haq Baloch participated in the ongoing Dushanbe International Investment Forum in Tajikistan’s capital. The three-day event, held from October 14 to 16, opened new avenues for trade and investment opportunities for Gwadar Port.
Global investors expressed strong interest in Gwadar, terming it a strategic gateway under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Delegates were briefed on the Gwadar Free Zones, including 23-year tax exemptions and other investment incentives.
Chairman Noor-ul-Haq Baloch said Gwadar has moved beyond promises and is now becoming a tangible reality — evolving into a regional trade and logistics hub. The forum’s positive response highlights Gwadar’s rising international significance.
