ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 :Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Tuesday, arrived here after concluding his two-day visit to Egypt where he attended the Gaza Ceasefire and Peace Summit.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his US counterpart Donald Trump co-chaired a gathering of the world leaders in “the Summit for Peace” to ensure the end of a more than two-year war in Gaza after a breakthrough ceasefire agreement.
On the occasion, the prime minister attended the historic agreement signing ceremony besides, held interactions with different world leaders who had arrived to participate in the summit at Egyptian Red Sea resort town of Sharm el-Sheik, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
Earlier, the prime minister had departed from Sharm El Sheikh for Islamabad. Egyptian Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Heno saw him off at the airport.
