Quetta, October 14:
Under the vision of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Balochistan’s Education reforms — led by Provincial Minister Raheela Hamid Khan Darani — have triggered a renaissance in the education sector. In recent months, many schools in remote and underprivileged areas have reopened while thousands of out-of-school children have resumed their educational journey.
Minister Darani said key measures include reactivating closed schools, restoring defunct institutions, launching digital attendance monitoring, improving basic infrastructure, and establishing smart classrooms to modernize the learning climate. She added that girls’ school counts have increased, and education quality improvement is a core priority.
She emphasized that education is the foundation for a conscious, resilient, and prosperous Balochistan, and that every child should have equal opportunity to learn. Education and public forums have praised her unrelenting efforts, saying the reforms are moving the province toward becoming one of Pakistan’s top-performing educational regions.
