Loralai, October 14, 2025:
A high-level UNHCR delegation met with Commissioner Loralai Division Wali Muhammad Badini to discuss the welfare, education, and livelihood of refugees living in the region under the IFRP-3 Program.
The delegation included Mahmood Khan (Field Office Loralai), Suriya Fawad, Shazia Aman, Alamgir Tareen, Ghulam Jilani (Quetta Office), and education partners Fateh Muhammad and Humaira Gul.
Commissioner Badini emphasized that education, healthcare, and employment for refugees are key humanitarian priorities and assured the UN agency of full cooperation from the Government of Balochistan. Both sides reviewed the current progress of the IFRP-3 program, existing challenges, and future objectives.
The Commissioner directed district administrations and relevant departments to maintain close coordination with UNHCR to ensure more effective field implementation. The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with both sides reaffirming their resolve to strengthen collaboration.
