Pakistan Army Repels Taliban Attacks in Border Sectors; Chaman Administration and Health Services on High Alert
Pakistan Army successfully repelled multiple Afghan Taliban and Fitna Al Khwarij attacks in Balochistan’s Spin Boldak, Kurram Sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Noshki, inflicting heavy casualties and destroying enemy positions. In Noshki, the Ghaznali post located three kilometres inside Afghan territory was destroyed, and the Pakistani flag was hoisted to mark the operation. Security sources reported that over 200 Taliban and affiliated militants were killed, multiple training camps were neutralised, and 21 enemy posts were temporarily captured.
President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned the cross-border aggression, terming it a violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and praising the Armed Forces for their professional and timely response. He urged Afghan authorities to prevent their soil from being used for hostile activities against Pakistan, emphasizing that any aggression will be met with a firm response.
Meanwhile, due to heightened border tensions, Chaman district administration and medical teams are on high alert. Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmed Bangulzai, Medical Superintendent Dr. Muhammad Owais, and District Health Officer Dr. Naveed Badini are monitoring the hospital emergency ward. All medical facilities have been activated, ambulance services are on high alert, and Afghan refugees from border areas have been safely relocated.
