Sibi/Lahri – October 19 (Independent Report):
In line with the Chief Minister of Balochistan’s vision of inclusive growth and sustainable progress, several solarization projects were inaugurated in Sibi district under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI).
Deputy Commissioner Sibi Major (R) Ilyas Kabzai formally opened the schemes in a ceremony attended by Wing Commander 52 Wing Colonel Zubair, Executive Engineer Urban Planning & Development Razzaq Marri, District Education Officer Abdul Sattar Lango, DHO Dr. Akbar Solangi, PPHI M&E Officer Lala Samad Usmani, and local residents.
Projects completed include solarization of the Sibi Circuit House, Government Girls High School Dehpal Kalan, Government Boys High School Bakhra Ghulam Bolak, Government Boys Higher Secondary School Loni, and Government Girls Middle School Chamra Karkhana. At Chamra Karkhana School, uniforms were also distributed among students.
Further, RHC Loni, RHC Lahri, and BHU Khairwah were solarized through joint collaboration between the C&W Department and PPHI. DC Kabzai said the provincial government is executing all projects with transparency and quality standards to ensure equal facilities for both urban and rural populations. He emphasized that effective inter-departmental coordination is speeding up developmental progress and public relief delivery.
Participants hailed BSDI projects as a milestone for education, health, and clean-energy improvement in the region.
