Energy Reforms in Focus: GB Information Advisor Iman Shah Meets Secretary Power Safdar Khan

GILGIT, Oct 20: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information Gilgit-Baltistan, Iman Shah, met with Secretary Power Department Safdar Khan to discuss ongoing and proposed energy projects across the region.

During the meeting, Iman Shah emphasized that the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan is giving special attention to reforms and development initiatives in the energy sector to provide better facilities to the public.

She highlighted the importance of inter-departmental cooperation for the efficient utilization of energy resources, timely completion of new power projects, and improvement of existing infrastructure.

Secretary Power Safdar Khan briefed the Special Assistant on the department’s performance, ongoing projects, and the challenges being faced. He informed that several projects aimed at improving electricity supply in various areas are in their final stages.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the timely completion of energy development projects in the public interest.
