Islamabad Police Arrest 17 Illegal Afghan Nationals in Successful Operation at Bari Imam

Islamabad, October 20, 2025 – According to a spokesperson for Islamabad Police, a successful operation was carried out in the Bari Imam area under the jurisdiction of Secretariat Police Station, led by SP City, following reports of illegal Afghan residents in the locality.

During the operation, the illegal Afghan nationals attempted to resist; however, the police, displaying professionalism, apprehended 17 individuals and shifted them to custody.

The spokesperson confirmed that all the arrested illegal Afghan residents will be deported after completing the legal formalities. Islamabad Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order, ensuring citizens’ safety, and continuing similar operations in the capital.
