JHAL MAGSI, Oct 20, — The Deputy Commissioner of Jhal Magsi has issued formal orders directing the immediate transfer of all Levies stations and check posts in the district to the police.

According to the official notification issued from the DC Office, the directive has been implemented in line with the decision of the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan. The move is part of the province’s broader administrative reforms aimed at integrating the Levies system into the regular policing structure for improved law enforcement and security management.

The order further instructs that during the handover process, all official records, weapons, and government assets currently under the Levies’ possession be duly handed over to the police authorities. The transition is intended to ensure a smooth shift of command and enhance the operational capacity of law enforcement across the district.

Officials have termed the decision a significant administrative step toward strengthening the policing framework and maintaining peace and order in the region.
