ISLAMABAD, October 20 — Federal Minister for Law and Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, extended warm greetings to the Hindu community in Pakistan and across the globe on the joyous occasion of Diwali.

The Minister stated that Diwali, the festival of light and hope, symbolizes the victory of good over evil and serves as a reminder to uphold the values of harmony, respect, and peaceful coexistence. He emphasized that such celebrations reflect Pakistan’s rich tradition of religious diversity and interfaith respect.

Senator Tarar acknowledged the valuable contributions of the Hindu community toward Pakistan’s social, cultural, and economic progress, highlighting their pivotal role in strengthening national unity and social cohesion.

Reaffirming the Government of Pakistan’s unwavering commitment, the Minister said that the Constitution guarantees equal rights, religious freedom, and dignity for every citizen without discrimination.

He expressed his heartfelt wishes, hoping that the festival of lights brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to all, while deepening the bonds of unity, brotherhood, and mutual respect in society.
