KARACHI – According to the latest report from the Sindh Health Department, 276 confirmed dengue cases were reported across the province this month, bringing the total for 2025 to 920. Karachi Division recorded 124 cases, Hyderabad 82, Mirpurkhas 58, Sukkur 9, Shaheed Benazirabad 2, and Larkana 1. Health Minister Dr Azra Pechuho directed all districts to accelerate spraying, fogging, and drainage efforts to eliminate mosquito breeding. She appealed to citizens to avoid stagnant water and seek medical help immediately in case of fever. “Dengue is preventable; with responsibility, it can be fully controlled,” she stressed.
