The land of Sariab has always produced remarkable souls whose character, values, and service left a deep imprint on society. Among these luminous names, Sir Muhammad Ashraf Simalani will forever be remembered — not only as an outstanding footballer but also as a teacher, mentor, and a man of noble spirit.
Sir Ashraf Simalani served as the Secretary and key player of the Sitara Balochistan Football Club. On the field, he embodied discipline, dedication, and grace — earning respect for his sportsmanship and moral conduct. His humility and kindness inspired every player who crossed his path.
Today, the playing fields of Sariab feel emptier without him. For the youth, he was more than an athlete; he was a guiding light and symbol of resilience.
Beyond the football grounds, Sir Simalani devoted himself to education. He often reminded students that physical fitness nurtures a strong mind, saying,
> “Sports are not just a pastime — they are a way of life.”

Even during illness, he continued guiding and motivating the younger generation. His heart remained deeply connected to Sariab’s youth until his final days.
His passing has cast a shadow of sorrow across Sariab. Players, students, teachers, and residents all agree that the community has lost not only a great sportsman but also a man of immense virtue and compassion.
Sir Muhammad Ashraf Simalani’s life reminds us that one person’s dedication, humility, and service can inspire generations. His memory will live on in every young athlete who follows in his footsteps.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his legacy continue to illuminate Sariab. Ameen.
