CHAMAN, Oct 22:
All types of transportation, cross-border movement on passports and visas, and commercial activities have been completely suspended at the Chaman border amid the prevailing situation, reliable sources confirmed.
According to details, only Afghan refugees returning to Afghanistan are being allowed to cross the border. These refugees have been permitted to carry personal household belongings and one motorcycle per family.
However, the authorities have prohibited the transport of heavy machinery, vehicles, tractors, and other equipment, warning Afghan families not to bring any restricted or non-household items with them while crossing.
Security officials are closely monitoring the situation, and additional personnel have been deployed to ensure order and prevent any untoward incidents.
