QUETTA, Oct 22 —

The Balochistan Board of Revenue organized a workshop focusing on agricultural facilitation through digital reforms.
Provincial Minister for Revenue Mir Asim Kurd Gailo, Senior Member Board of Revenue Qamar Dashti, and State Bank officials attended.
Officials briefed participants on new digital systems enabling farmers to pay income tax via a dedicated mobile app and to access easy loans through a one-window operation established in collaboration with Habib Bank.
Speakers emphasized that modernizing the agriculture sector will improve farmers’ livelihoods, boost provincial revenue, and strengthen Balochistan’s status as Pakistan’s “fruit basket.”
Certificates were later awarded to newly appointed officials, while participants praised the government’s reforms as a milestone toward an agricultural revolution in the province.
