Quetta, October 22, 2025: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that, like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan is also severely affected by terrorism and needs additional security equipment to counter the threat effectively.
In a statement, the Chief Minister emphasized that the government of Balochistan is committed to ensuring public safety, which remains its top priority. He said that measures to strengthen law and order in the province are being made more effective and comprehensive.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti also requested the Federal Interior Minister to transfer the bulletproof vehicles to Balochistan if the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government declines to utilize them. He added that enhanced security arrangements and equipment are essential for successfully combating terrorism and protecting the lives of citizens.
