CM Bugti Urges Federal Govt to Allocate Bulletproof Vehicles to Balochistan for Counterterrorism Drive

QUETTA, Oct 22 —
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has appealed to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to hand over bulletproof vehicles—declined by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government—to Balochistan.
In a statement on X, Bugti said Balochistan, like KP, has long borne the brunt of terrorism and urgently needs advanced protective equipment to maintain law and order.
He stressed that police, Levies, and law-enforcement agencies risk their lives daily for citizens’ safety; therefore, ensuring modern security resources is imperative.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed that protecting life and property remains his government’s foremost priority, adding that provincial and federal institutions are pursuing a joint strategy to defeat terrorism and establish lasting peace in the province.
