PESHAWAR, Oct 22 (Independent Report):
Newly elected Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi chaired his first formal cabinet meeting on Tuesday, focusing on governance reforms and law-and-order improvements across the province.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Additional Chief Secretary, and Administrative Secretaries, while Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Regional Police Officers (RPOs), and District Police Officers (DPOs) joined via video link.

The session reviewed the province’s Good Governance Roadmap and discussed anti-corruption measures. Officials briefed that the roadmap is aligned with PTI’s vision and manifesto, emphasizing three core sectors: Public Service Delivery, Law and Order, and the Economy.

Separate action plans for each department have been formulated to enhance efficiency and ensure accountability. The Chief Minister reaffirmed his government’s commitment to transparency, effective governance, and public service.
