Pishin/Chaman, October 22, 2025: The Pishin Levies Force has announced a protest on Friday against the government’s decision to merge the Levies Force into the police. The announcement was made by Rasaldar Major Ali Muhammad Tarin, who convened a high-level meeting of all Levies check-post in-charges in the district.

Major Tarin emphasized the historical significance of the Levies Force, stating, “The Levies Force has existed for centuries, and many lives have been sacrificed for its protection. We will not tolerate any attempt to merge it into the police.” He urged all Levies personnel to participate in the protest, promising it will be remembered across Balochistan.
