Islamabad Police Holds Ceremony to Honour Officers After Successful Driving License Campaign

Under the directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Traffic Police successfully concluded its driving license campaign aimed at promoting responsible driving and law awareness among citizens.

To mark the success of the campaign, the IGP hosted a ceremony in honour of senior police officers, Friends of Police, traffic officers, volunteers, and ministerial staff. The event was attended by DIG Traffic, CTO, and other senior officials.

Speaking on the occasion, IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi commended the officers for their dedication and professionalism, stating that “Islamabad Traffic Police has played a commendable role in ensuring public convenience, adherence to law, and encouraging responsible driving.”

He added that such positive initiatives not only enhance public awareness but also strengthen trust between citizens and the police. “Our officers displayed courtesy, cooperation, and a strong sense of duty, which are hallmarks of a progressive police force,” the IGP remarked.

He emphasized that similar citizen-focused initiatives will continue in the future to further consolidate public trust. “Islamabad Police strongly believes in promoting community policing and public partnership as essential elements for maintaining peace and order,” he added.
