QUETTA, Oct 24: Additional Chief Secretary (Development) Zahid Saleem has emphasized the timely completion of development projects under the directives of the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary of Balochistan.
He chaired the monthly review meeting of the Planning and Development Department, attended by the Joint Chief Economist, Chiefs of various sections, Additional Secretary P&D, and other officers.
Zahid Saleem said that public welfare is the government’s top priority and directed officers to ensure high-quality completion of all mega projects within approved timelines. He stressed that delays or substandard work will not be tolerated.
The ACS said progress on projects would be monitored through field visits and data tracking to ensure transparency. He reiterated that the government’s development vision focuses on sustainable growth and equitable infrastructure delivery across all districts.
