KP Chief Minister Sohaib Afridi Condemns Hangu Blast, Orders Immediate Report from IGP

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohaib Afridi strongly condemned the Hangu bomb blast and directed the Inspector General of Police to submit an immediate report on the incident.

Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic attack, the Chief Minister said that those responsible will be brought to justice at all costs. He announced that an Apex Committee meeting has been convened to review the overall law and order situation in the province.

Afridi said cowardly attacks cannot weaken the morale of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and the police, reaffirming the government’s commitment to utilize all available resources to maintain peace and security in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He paid tribute to SP Operations and the two police personnel who embraced martyrdom, saying their sacrifices will not go in vain. The Chief Minister also prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and patience for their bereaved families.
