KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi Fulfills Promise to Strengthen Police Force, Approves New Operational Vehicles

PESHAWAR, Oct. 24 — Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi has fulfilled his commitment to enhance the operational capacity of the provincial police by approving the purchase of new operational vehicles.
According to the approved summary, the new fleet includes 4 Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs), 39 single-cabin pickups, 34 double-cabin pickups, 2 Revo vehicles, 15 pickups, and 7 other vehicles. These will be distributed across all districts of the province to strengthen police stations and improve response capabilities.
Chief Minister Afridi stated that despite the indifferent attitude of the federal government, the provincial administration remains determined to equip the KP Police with modern facilities and resources.
“Our brave police officers are fighting on the front lines. It is our duty to provide them with the best possible support,” he affirmed.
He further emphasized that the provincial government stands shoulder to shoulder with its police force in the mission to maintain lasting peace and stability in the region.
Afridi also highlighted that the government has already initiated the provision of bulletproof vehicles worth Rs. 1.89 billion to enhance the safety and operational efficiency of police personnel across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
