TURBAT, Oct 24: Students from Government Girls Degree College Turbat secured outstanding positions in Makran Division Inter-College Competitions held at Atta Shad Degree College.
The college achieved top spots in English Essay Writing (Asma – 1st), Calligraphy (Muskan Hussain – 1st), Short Film “Khisht-e-Awwal” (2nd), and Poster Making (3rd). The women’s cricket team was also declared champion by default.
The Principal congratulated the students, commending their creativity and dedication. She said the college’s achievements are a source of pride for Makran and demonstrate the academic excellence and confidence of young women in Balochistan.
She encouraged students to keep striving for excellence in both academics and co-curricular activities, adding that such achievements pave the way for greater representation of women in education and leadership.
