ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 :Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry Saturday emphasized that the global stature of COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reflects Pakistan’s growing leadership, diplomatic clout and the prestige of its green passport and flag.
Speaking exclusively to a local news channel, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said, “Historic recognition by world leaders, including Donald Trump and leaders of Islamic countries, signals Pakistan’s rising global standing, something unseen in the past 70 years.”
He added, “It is an honor for Pakistan to now be standing in such a strong position. Under COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the country is earning respect for its leadership, diplomacy and military on the world stage.”
He also criticized the opposition, that “If Imran Khan is in jail, it is because he is facing the consequences of his corrupt actions. Accountability is essential and no one is above the law.”
He further added, “During PTI’s rule, the party inflicted serious damage on Pakistan’s economy and institutions. Even now, PTI refuses to acknowledge the country’s progress under the current government, showing their inability to digest the nation’s rising global stature.”
Responding to the query about PPP reservations, he said, “All legislation, including economic decisions such as wheat rates, was taken collectively with all parties. Our government believes in democracy, dialogue and public welfare, not extremism.”
He stressed, “Opposition leaders of PTI need to rethink their approach and prioritize Pakistan over political point-scoring.”
