CM Suhail Afridi Pays Tribute to Martyred SP Asad Zubair and Extends Condolences to Late Journalist Arshad Sharif’s Family
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Suhail Afridi visited the residence of martyred SP Asad Zubair Afridi in Kohat on Sunday and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family over his martyrdom in the Hangu blast.
The Chief Minister offered Fateha for the martyred SP and his colleagues, acknowledging the unparalleled sacrifices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in maintaining peace and protecting the lives and property of citizens.
> “Our police have laid down their lives for the safety of the people, and the entire nation is proud of their bravery,” said CM Afridi, adding that the families of martyrs will never be left alone.
SP Asad Zubair Afridi, who embraced martyrdom in the Hangu blast, was the cousin of former Interior Minister and National Assembly member Shehryar Khan Afridi.
Earlier, in a separate message from Peshawar, Chief Minister Suhail Afridi expressed grief over the passing of the mother of martyred journalist Arshad Sharif, calling her “a courageous mother who raised a son devoted to truth.”
> “Arshad Sharif was a fearless and principled journalist—his name will forever shine in the golden pages of journalistic history,” the Chief Minister remarked.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and strength for the bereaved family, affirming that the nation will always remember Arshad Sharif and his great mother with respect and pride.
