Frontier Corps North Organizes Free Medical Camp in Ghalanai; 1,268 Patients Treated

A one-day free medical camp was organized by Mohmand Rifles, Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North) in the Ghalanai area of Mohmand District to provide quality healthcare facilities to the local population at their doorstep.

The camp featured the participation of specialist doctors from multiple disciplines, including neurology, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, ophthalmology, physiotherapy, family medicine, and dentistry. Patients received detailed medical examinations, diagnostic tests, and free medicines.

A total of 1,268 patients were treated during the camp, comprising 490 men, 452 women, and 326 children. In addition to medical services, residents were also educated on health, hygiene, preventive care, and awareness against common diseases.

The initiative aimed to address general health issues, promote hygiene awareness, and strengthen preventive healthcare practices in remote communities.

Local residents appreciated the welfare initiative of the Pakistan Army, emphasizing that such medical camps not only contribute to public well-being but also foster stronger bonds of trust and affection between the armed forces and the people.
