The National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) observed October 27 as Black Day to express solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and to condemn the illegal occupation of the region by Indian forces as well as the ongoing atrocities against the Kashmiri people.
In observance of the day, awareness walks, rallies, and campaigns were organized across the country. Banners condemning Indian aggression and showing support for Kashmiris were displayed at toll plazas along national highways and motorways. Additionally, Mobile Education Units of the NH&MP distributed awareness pamphlets among commuters and the general public to highlight the significance of the day and reaffirm Pakistan’s moral and political support for the Kashmiri cause.
