Documentary “Xi’an to Gwadar Port” Concludes, Honoring Builders Behind CPEC Success

A Chinese media team from Xi’an concluded their special documentary film titled “Xi’an to Gwadar Port: Great Feats of Builders”, paying tribute to the extraordinary efforts of those who played pivotal roles in the success of Gwadar Port and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Speaking at the Gwadar Business Centre, the documentary’s director, Bai Zhijun, said the film highlights the dedication, perseverance, and responsibility of ordinary laborers who contributed to the construction of CPEC.

“The choice to conclude filming here is highly symbolic. Gwadar is not only the shining endpoint of CPEC but also the spiritual home of the stories of the builders captured by our cameras,” Bai added.

He emphasized that every frame of the documentary embodies hard work, commitment, and perseverance, paying deep respect to every builder who devoted themselves to their posts.

The conclusion ceremony was attended by notable figures including Yu Bo, Chairman of COPHC, Noor Ul Haq, Chairman of Gwadar Port Authority (GPA), Baboo Ghulab, former Mayor of Gwadar City, and Dadullah Yousaf, Deputy Director of the Safe City Project.

The documentary stands as a tribute to the human effort behind CPEC, capturing the untold stories of the workers and officials who turned the ambitious project into a reality.
