The Two-Day Digital Media Training Workshop organized under the Youth Empowerment Program of Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) Pakistan concluded successfully in Gilgit. The workshop provided young participants with valuable knowledge and hands-on training in digital media, photography, and videography.
The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Qamar Abbas, Provost of Karakoram International University, and Dr. Jehan, Regional Manager of HHRD Gilgit-Baltistan, as the chief guests. They appreciated the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants, emphasizing that such training initiatives play a vital role in enhancing youth skills and preparing them for professional opportunities in the digital age.
Renowned trainers Professor Ijaz Ahmed Khan, William Abbas, and Murtaza Ansari conducted various interactive sessions, introducing participants to modern digital media technologies and guiding them through practical exercises.
At the end of the workshop, results of the Photography and Short Documentary Competitions were announced — Talha Ahmed secured first position in photography, while Ali Saeed and his group won the short documentary contest.
The event concluded with expressions of gratitude to the guests, trainers, and participants, and the organizers were congratulated for successfully holding an engaging and skill-oriented workshop.
