15-Day Cleanliness Drive Launched in Asta Muhammad to Promote a Healthy and Hygienic City

A 15-day citywide cleanliness and hygiene campaign has been officially launched in Asta Muhammad under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ramzan Palal. The campaign kickoff was marked by a coordination committee meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, attended by Mayor of Municipal Corporation Mir Muzaffar Khan Jamali, District Health Officer Dr. Amir Ali Jamali, Executive Public Health Engineering, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation, District Education Officer Shah Bakhsh Pandrani, WAPDA, police, and officials from other relevant departments.

Deputy Commissioner Palal stated that the campaign will simultaneously cover Tehsil Asta Muhammad and Tehsil Gandakha, with Municipal Corporation overseeing its execution and all other departments providing full support.

He directed the Public Health Engineering Department to immediately address any service gaps during the campaign and repair any broken water or sewage lines without delay. The Municipal Corporation has also been instructed to identify at least 10 key areas for special attention and improvement.

The committee also appealed to the business community to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation in keeping the city clean and attractive, emphasizing that the goal is to transform Asta Muhammad into a clean, healthy, and well-maintained city.
