Shangla’s Lardi Nareedle area witnessed a tragic road accident today when a jeep suddenly lost control and plunged into a deep gorge. The accident claimed the lives of two people, including a woman, while four others sustained serious injuries.
According to police sources, the deceased include Sher Nawaz, son of Gul Rahim, and a woman. The injured are identified as Zebullah, Hidayatullah, Fazal Rabi (driver), and an unidentified person. Local residents immediately alerted authorities, and police along with rescue teams reached the site. The injured were transported to District Headquarters Hospital Alpuri for urgent medical care.
Preliminary reports suggest that speeding or loss of control on a curve may have contributed to the accident, while further investigations are underway.
